Ektashif Camp 2026

Overview

Ektashif Camp is a dynamic youth engagement program designed by Khalifa University to empower high school students through immersive learning experiences in science, technology, and innovation. The name Ektashif, meaning "to explore" in Arabic, reflects the program’s mission to ignite curiosity, develop skills, and inspire future leaders in STEM fields.

Ektashif combines technical workshops, hands-on projects, personal development sessions, and university-style learning environments. The program exposes students to emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, coding, telecommunications, earth sciences, and more – all led by experts and researchers from KU’s world-class facilities.

Target Audience

• Grade 11 and 12 high school students. 
• Students interested in programming, engineering, and earth sciences.
• Applicants committed to full in-person attendance.

Selection Criteria

• High school students (Grade 11 to 12) currently enrolled in the UAE
• Demonstrated interest in science, technology, or engineering fields
• Consistent academic performance (preferably 85% or above, or equivalent)
